Mobile Hydraulic Technician (MHT) applies fluid power theory and related knowledge to test and troubleshoot operational mobile hydraulic systems and applications. An MHT reads mobile schematics, performs basic cylinder & hydraulic motor calculations and is able to supervise system installations and commissioning.

Industrial Hydraulic Technician (IHT) applies fluid power theory and related knowledge to test and troubleshoot operational industrial hydraulic systems and applications. This individual is also able to read industrial application schematics, and does basic cylinder & hydraulic motor calculations. An IHT is able to supervise system installations and commissioning.

Pneumatic Technician (PT) fabricates, assembles, services, maintains and tests pneumatic equipment. Can calculate force and motion control systems and is able to follow blueprints and schematics with ISO standard pneumatic symbols.

The Technician certification test has two parts:
Part 1 - written test (pen and paper or online)
Part 2. job performance (hands-on.)
